Donald R. Priest

Donald R. Priest, 86, of 6845 Beachwood Rd., Emporium, PA died at UPMC-Altoona Hospital, Altoona, PA on Monday (March 19, 2018) afternoon. He was born August 24, 1931 in Truman, PA a son of the late Richard and Audrey Leavitt Priest. On June 7, 1954 in Emporium he married the late Shirley Wenner. Donald graduated from Emporium High School. He retired from Sylvania where he worked for many years. He also worked for Graham Container in Farmers Valley and later at Particle Board in Mt. Jewett. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, his dogs and his cat "Pumpkin". He liked the outdoors, working and tending to his yard. He is survived by a son, Dana Priest, Truman; daughter, Kathy (Martin) Tully, Thompson, PA; son, Curt (Janine) Priest, Eldred; three grandchildren: Ryan Tully, Meghan (John) Prunier and Kayla Priest; two great grandchildren: Kendra Priest & Shaye Prunier; one brother, Jerome (Margaret) Priest, Toms River, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. There will be No Visitation. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
