Glenda S. George

Glenda S. George, 74, of Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA formerly of Chico, California died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Monday (January 30, 2017) afternoon. She was born January 14, 1943 in Chowchilla, California a daughter of the late J. B. and Gladys Tisseyre Allen. Glenda was a resident of California most of her life before moving to Emporium five year ago to be nearer to her sister and brother- in-law. Glenda retired from Bank of America, as a loan officer, where she worked many years. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium. She is survived by two sons, Christopher (Tammy) Schmitz, New Jersey and Command Sergeant Major Eric (Gayla) Schmitz, Ft. Bragg, NC; five grandchildren, two sisters, Denise (Rev. Steven) Miller, Emporium and Janice Winters, Willets, CA. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Gladys Tisseyre Allen, There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Wednesday (February 8, 2017) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Lionel Owen, Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
