Pauline M. Moscato, 93, of 35 Pioneer Rd., died Sunday evening (Feb. 18, 2018) at Guy and Mary Felt Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 24, 1924, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Anthony and Albina Prosper Moscato. Pauline graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1941. She retired in 1982 from Sylvania where she had worked since graduating from high school. She was a very active member of St. Mark Catholic Church and a member of the Sylvania Quarter Century Club, Sylvania Retiree Association and the VFW Auxillary. She was accomplished at many hobbies, which she enjoyed greatly and shared with others. Among her hobbies were sewing, quilting, painting, crocheting and knitting. Pauline is survived by two brothers, Guy and William (Phyllis) Moscato, both of Emporium; nieces and nephews, Guy Moscato of York; Tony Moscato, David Brown, Nancy and Pete Fragale, Julie Brown, Steven and Staci Brown, Mike Moscato, Lori Moscato and Paul Moscato, all of Emporium. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Moscato Brown; a brother, Joseph Moscato and a nephew, Paul Moscato. Visitation with video tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday (Feb. 21, 2018) one hour prior to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Paul S. Siebert, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery.
