Tanya Lynn Abriatis-Flegal

Tanya Lynn Abriatis-Flegal age 44 of Mesa, Arizona passed away on May 15th, 2016. Tanya was born on September 22nd, 1971 in Ridgway, PA. She is survived by her mother, Roseann Hartman Abriatis, and her father, Robert W. Abriatis, of Mesa, Arizona. Her two children, Cameron and Carley Flegal of Mesa, Arizona and a brother, Jeff Abriatis of Cabot, PA and sister, Rikke Abriatis Kilmer of Brockport, PA. Her five nieces and one nephew and her cat Jasmine. Tanya is also survived by numerous Aunt’s, Uncle’s, cousins and friends. Tanya was a loving mother, daughter and sister. She was a 1989 graduate of Mountain View High School in Mesa, Arizona. Tanya graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Cosmetology in 1997 and then graduated from Jefferson Technical School in 1998. Tanya later obtained her CNA certificate and completed the Restorative Nursing Course. She attended Mesa Community College from 1990-1992 and worked as a personal care giver most recently at Good Shepard Personal Care Home in Mesa, Arizona. Tanya is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents Louisa Zoschg Hartman and Frederick Hartman and Mildred Elder and Paul Peter Abriatis. Services will be held on June 18th beginning at 10 am at St. Mark’s Catholic church in Emporium, PA. Calling hour will be held from 10 am-12 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon. Burial will follow in the Rich Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers an educational fund will be set up on behalf of her children in care of Robert and Roseann Abriatis, 3130 North 82nd St. Mesa, Arizona, 85207
