Amos L. Wheaton, 80, of 1007 Rich Valley Rd., Emporium died at his residence, Emporium on Monday (August 1, 2011) morning. He was born January 18, 1931 in Dunbar, PA a son of the late Paul and Hazel VanGelder Wheaton.
He married Delia Ann Emery Wheaton, who Survives.
Mr. Wheaton retired from North American Philips where he worked for over 44 years. He was a life member of the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge #368, Emporium, and a member of the Christabelle Club.

Son: Jeffrey Imboden, Saukville, WI
Daughter: Cheryl, Mrs. Joe DeLucia, Emporium

Several: nieces and nephews
Sister: Linda, Mrs. Fred Manginell, Emporium

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, followed by the Funeral & Committal Service Funeral and Commital Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday (August 3, 2011) at 4:00 PM with Rev. R. Scott Melott, Pastor, First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Community Nurses Inc., 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857 or to the Cameron County Ambulance Service, 299 E. Second St., Emporium, PA 15834 or to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 424 N. Broad Street, Emporium, PA 15834
