Ann Z. Malizia, 91, of 405 N. Pine St, Emporium, died at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys on Monday, January 23, 2012 morning.

She was born August 19, 1920 in Sykesville, a daughter of the late John and Theresa Martinek Zbailey. She married the late John M. Malizia

Mrs. Malizia retired from Sylvania were she worked for over 18 years. She later worked at the Market Basket for several years. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and had been a member of the C. D. of A. Years ago she was active with the Emporium Little League Auxiliary.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
A Christian Wake Service will be held starting at 3:45 PM.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Independent Living  Activity Fund, 110 East 4th Street, Emporium, PA 15834

May Aunt Annie rest in peace. My fondest childhood memories are of Aunt Annie and visits to her home - no trip was made to Emporium without a stop at Aunt Annie's home. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, friends and family.
