Anna Guisto

Anna Guisto, 86, of 414 Spring Street, Emporium died at her residence, on Thursday (May 16, 2013) morning.

She was born November 17, 1926 in Emporium a daughter of the late Angelo and Michella Fragale Gennocro.

She married the late Jack Guisto

Mrs. Guisto graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1944. Years ago she worked at Sylvania. She and her husband owned and operated the former Crescent Hotel in Emporium. Anna was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 194, the Women of the Moose, Chaper 264, the Christabelle Club, Emporium Senior Center and St. Mark Catholic Church. She was also a charter member of the VFW Womans Auxiliary, Unit #6222, Emporium. Anna was an avid bingo player and loved to play the card game "shoot the moon".

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Saturday (May 18, 2013) at 10:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 PM.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.
