Jim & Phyllis and

Jim & Phyllis and Families: Sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a classy lady. You were fortunate to have her for 90 years! Sorry we missed seeing you at the funeral home. Pat and Darlene Vogt

I am sorry to hear of your

I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a sweet lady. I do, however, have a comical story about the children's mass when I was very young. I was there with Stephanie Petty, my aunt (hahaha), and Elaine, my older sister. Stephanie told Elaine to get ready to go and Elaine told me to go BEFORE Father Reda left he alter! Needless to say, Fr. Reda stopped and said, "Where are you going?" I respond, "I was to leave now." His retort was that HE has NOT left the alter yet and I should go right back and sit down! Well, that was a bit embarrassing then while we were leaving, I told my mother that Mrs. 'Cigar', told me I was not a good girl for leaving before father left the alter. That is one lesson, I learned and teach the children at CCD to this day! It is ironically funny, now, given most families leave early and the priest doesn't say anything let alone stop mass. I am sorry for your loss but hope you find peace in knowing she is in a good place. I will keep her in my prayers.

Jim and Phyllis- I am so

Jim and Phyllis- I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother. It was so long ago that we played together. What I remember the most was your Mother always let us kids come into the house to play games in the basement if it was raining!!!!

Zidar Family: Mrs. Zidar was

Zidar Family: Mrs. Zidar was my guardian angel when I came to work at Woodland helping me to secure an apartment when I had no place to stay, and then through the years she was always "looking out for me". She was a precious friend. She will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

Zidar Family, Mrs. Zidar was

Zidar Family, Mrs. Zidar was my guardian angel during the time we worked at Woodland, from my very first day (1971) when she helped me secure an apartment and through all the remaining years that she worked there. There are people who make a lasting impression on your life, and to me, Arlene Zidar, was one of them. So sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.

Jim and Phyllis....reading of

Jim and Phyllis....reading of your mother's passing brought back a flood of happy childhood memories that included her serenely tolerating us as we tore through the house, the apple trees, and the 'apple wars' with the Miller kids. Not sure what her reaction was when Phyllis' arm was broken (if I remember correctly) in a teeter totter accident involving the big brother! Memories and stories are what carry us through times of sorrow....Peace
