Eleanor A. Pearson, 86, of Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, formerly of Maple Street died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor on Friday (August 3, 2012) evening.
She was born March 15, 1926 in Byrnedale, PA a daughter of the late George and Mabel Kellogg Russell.
She married the late John Pearson. Her first husband was the late James Everingham. Mrs. Pearson was known in Emporium as a seamstress and worked many yeras at Pearsons Dry Cleaning. She also enjoyed quilting.

2 Grandchildren: Yvonne Friga and her husband Mike, Rochester
Carl Brown, II and wife Erika, Emporium
4 Great Grandchildren: Joe, Josh, Ryder and Camden
Sister: Anita Bowersox, Geneseo, NY

Parents: George and Mabel Kellogg Russell
First husband: James Everingham
Second Husband: John Pearson
5 Sister: Rita Mae Ross,Christine Ayers, Aileen Thompson, Lucille Miglicio & Gertrude Gardner
4 Brothers: George, David, John and Willis Russell
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday from 5-7 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Guy & Mary Felt Manor, 110 East 4th Street, Emporium, PA 15834

Diane - Sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Aunt Eleanor. She always had a smile and a nice word to say. I remember when I was young she always worried that Uncle John was teaching me things I probably didn't need to know. God bless.

Diane, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I just can't help but remember "the sewing club"... Mitzi, Lucille, Dot ( my mom) and yor mom was the leader. Good women...all of them. The Byrnedale girls stuck together. I am just so, so sorry.

Dea Family, I had so much

Dea Family, I had so much fun with Eleanor when I lived in Emporium. We had so many wonderful laughs. When I was home in June I was at the Manor and did not realize she was there. I would have loved to see her one more time. Peace and wonderful memories.

Diane So sorry - She tried to teach me how to sew - that didn't work out very well. We used to do a lot together. I'll always have the memories.
