Ellen L. Muhitch, 88, of Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Tuesday (March 27, 2012) night.

She was born March 31, 1923 in Annin Creek, PA a daughter of the late Wilson and Lorena Cooper Strait.

in 1947 at St. Mark Church she married the late Norbert Muhitch.

Mrs. Muhitch graduated from Port Allegany High School inn the class of 1940. She retired from Sylvania where she worked for over 38 years.

Son: Michael Muhitch and his wife Denise, Oxford, MI

2 Grandchildren Benjamin and Matthew

Preceded in Death By

Parents: Wilson and Lorena Cooper Strait

Husband: Norbert Muhitch who died March 13, 2006

Three: Sisters

One: Brother

I lived up by Andrews farm and was walking home form t he Market Basket carrying my groceries and your mom saw came out in her housecoat got in her car and picked me up and drove me the rest of the way home. I remember when their house was built I already lived in the park so I knew your family for a long time
