Kendyl M. Shaffer, 14, of 240 W Allegany Ave., Emporium, died at Childrens Hospital-UPMC, Pittsburgh on Thursday (September 8, 2011) night.
She was born April 12, 1997 in St. Marys a daughter of Kenneth and Julie Bauer Shaffer, Emporium
Kendyl was a 9th grade student at Cameron County High School. She was actively involved in Cheerleading, Softball, rollerblading, piano and guitar. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Visitation with Video Tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 E. Fourth St., Emporium on Tuesday (September 13, 2011) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium
