Mary Catherine Doud, 69, of 275 Telescope Rd., Ulysses, PA formerly of Emporium
died at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport on Thursday (July 19, 2012) afternoon.
She was born September 30, 1942 in Painted Post, New York a daughter of the late George and Clara McFall Bobinko.
On December 16, 1989 in Galeton, she married the late James LeRoy Doud.
Mrs. graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1960. She worked as a cook for many local restaurants but mostly the Coffe Shop "Duby's" and the Homestead Hotel. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter #264

There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Gathering  at the Emporium Fire Hall, 419 North Broad Street on Sunday (July 22, 2012) at 1:00 PM.  A procession will start at 1:00 PM in front of the Barnett Funeral Home and continue to the fire hall for a time of memory sharing.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Cameron County SPCA, P.O. BOX 132, Emporium, PA 15834 or to Make-a-Wish Foundation, 707 Grant Street, 37th Floor! Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1916

My sister and I had a special

My sister and I had a special bond with Mary. We grew up together and shared many happy and sometimes sad memories of our childhood. God bless you Mary, may you find happiness now and forever.

So sorry for your loss as I remember when we were young that my mom had Mary to the house several times as we had the same birthday and same year.This is the second loss this week of another that had the same birthday.My heart gos out to all the all as i allso remember being good friends with Jim in highschool.I will keep you in my prayers.

The Class of 60 is saddened

The Class of 60 is saddened to learn that another treasured member has been lost to us. Mary Kaye was always there enthusiatically ready to help with any class function. Always so kind and involved with her friends from school. She will be very missed. From all her friends from the Class of 60

I am truly sorry for your loss....I graduated with Mary in the Class of 1960....her and I used to play scrabble on FB and she was a darn good player....Prayers go out to your family from me and my husband in your time of sorrow.Ii
