Aurelia "Ral" Grippo

Aurelia M. "Ral" Grippo, 95, of 128 E. 3rd St., Emporium, PA died at her residence, Emporium, PA on Saturday (August 12, 2017) morning. She was born January 9, 1922 in Conifer, PA a daughter of the late Jerry and Adele Festi Gosetti. On July 18, 1958 in St. Mark Catholic Church she married the late Joseph Grippo. Mrs. Grippo graduated from the former Cowanshonnack High School in the class of 1942. She retired from Phillips-Sylvania in 1981 where she worked for over 31 years. She also worked as a waitress at the VFW for many years. She was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church and the C. D. of A. She is survived by two daughters, Carla Erskine and Patricia "Patty" Grippo, both of Emporium; three grandchildren: Joshua (Jessica) Grippo, Jordan Brown & Dustin Erskine; four great grandchildren: Elena Aurelia & Julia Marie Grippo, Dane & Demarco Erskine; one sister, Rose Marie Bernard and her husband Anthony, Rural Valley, PA; She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Adele Gosetti, husband, Joseph Grippo who died March 12, 1992; one son, Patrick in infancy; twin sister, Candida Gosetti in infancy; sister, Theresa Gosetti, two brothers, Louis & Guido Gosetti, Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Friday (August 18, 2017) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 E. 4th Street, Emporium, PA 15834
