Beverly Stewart Obituary

Beverly A. Stewart, 76, of Moore Hill Road, Emporium, PA died at her residence on Saturday morning (April 13, 2019). She was born May 12, 1942 in Emporium, PA.

Bev had worked at several local factories, home healthcare, and Sheetz for many years. Volunteering is what Bev enjoyed most. She volunteered for the Cameron County Little League over 20 years, Cameron County High School Band, Wrestling (BAGUBA) and Quarterback Clubs, the American Cancer Society, Daffodil Days, relay for life and most recently the Emporium Fire Department Auxiliary where she helped with many benefits. She was alway a very willing leader and participant in helping friends and family. Bev enjoyed making many kinds of crafts. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Emporium.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Norman) Reed and Rita (Bruce) Stuckey; two sons, Craig (Kelly) Doud and Glenn (Kari) Doud, all of Emporium; thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; sister, Gloria (Dan) Woods, Castle Garden; Brother, Al (Celine) Jewart, Keating Summit; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, George and Esther Andrus, a son, Leslie Doud and a brother, Bernard (Sam) Kriner.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 306 S Spruce St, Emporium, PA on Saturday (April 20, 2019) at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Short, Pastor and Rev. Russell J. Horning, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10:00 AM - 12:45 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Emporium Fire Department Auxiliary, 419 N. Broad St., Emporium, PA 15834
