Deborah L. Stuart

Deborah L. Stuart, 67, of 421 Hunts Run Rd., Emporium, PA died at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA on Tuesday (July 9, 2019) afternoon following a lengthy illness. She was born October 26, 1951 in Kingston, PA a daughter of the late Arthur and Carolyn Moffitt May, Sr. On July 25, 1970 in First Presbyterian Church in Emporium she married M. Charles Stuart, Jr., who survives.

Deborah graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1969. She loved her family and her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren as she was very involved in their lives.

In addition to her husband Charlie she is survived by two daughters, Staci (Steven) Brown and Sylvia (Doug) Homan both of Emporium; a special niece whom she helped raise, Amanda Ozenbaugh, Harrisburg; five grandchildren: Marcus, Dino, Hayden and Jax Brown and Connor Homan; one sister, Carol (Donald) Bowser and two brothers, Arthur (Rita) May and Steven (Karen) May all of Emporium as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

At her request there will be no visitation or service.
