Elaine M. Grimone

Elaine M. Grimone, 76, of 260 Route 46, Emporium, PA died at Penn Highlands Elk, St. Marys, PA on Sunday (December 24, 2017) evening following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 19, 1941 in Olean, New York a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Miller Talbott. On June 21, 1981 in Emporium she married Leo "JR" Grimone, who survives. Elaine graduated from Otto Eldred High School in the class of 1959. She Was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and she served on the board of directors of the Cameron County Health Care Center for over 23 years. Elaine and her husband operated North Creek Farms along with Curt Fuenfinger. She enjoyed reading, country music, making fudge, mowing her yard and her cat Stanley. She loved spending time with her family. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Michael (Valerie) Barnett, Treasure Lake; Eric Barnett, Bradford; two step-daughters, Terri Grimone and Betty Grimone of Emporium; two step-sons, Leo (Jana) Grimone, III, McKinney, TX and Robert (Kim) Mix, Boalsburg, PA; four grandchildren, Christopher, Adam, Eve & Lucian Barnett; several step-grandchildren, several, nieces and nephews; one sister, Alice Ondrusek (George) Kellenberger, The Villages, FL; She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ethel Miller Talbott; a son, Christopher Barnett; Step-daughter Margaret Mix Summers brother, Robert Talbott; two Sisters, Susan Frampton & Mary Ann in infancy. Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA Memorial Contributions may be made to the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department, 419 N.
