Elsie M. Heagy

Elsie M. Heagy, 82, of 203 S. Broad St., Emporium, PA died at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, PA on Saturday (April 29, 2017) morning. She was born April 19, 1935 in Reynoldsville, PA a daughter of the late Edward and Blanche Baun Huntington. On August 1, 1964 in Emporium she married the late Earl Heagy. Elsie retired from Cameron Manufacturing where she worked for many years. She continued working, after her retirement, at the Cabin Kitchen. She loved her pets "Junior" and "Chopper" Survived by Daughter, Kaye Whitley, Lutz, FL; and two sons, John (Bambi) Teates, Emporium and Michael (Lori) Heagy, Brookville; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three brothers, Bill (Jane) Huntington, Sykesville; Henry (Carol) Schwab, Reynoldsville, Harry Schwab, Reynoldsville; three sister, Joyce (Larry) Miller, Brookville, Margaret Horning and Mary Lou McAulay both from Emporium. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Blanche Baun Huntington, husband, Earl Heagy who died March 2, 1998, three brothers, Ron & George Huntington & Charles in infancy, There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service will be held at Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Saturday (May 6, 2017) at 4:00 PM with Rev. James Eastman, Pastor, Deeper Waters Ministries, officiating. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
