Nancy L. Reed

Nancy L. Reed, 83, of Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA formerly of Beechwood Road, died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor on Monday morning (January 4, 2021). She was born February 7, 1937 in Emporium, PA a daughter of the late Charles A. and Wilda Ingersoll Schwab, Sr. On September 28, 1957 in St. Mark Catholic Church she married George Reed, who survives.

Nancy graduated from Cameron County High School. She retired from the County of Cameron where she had worked for many years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Nancy loved to read and was a wonderful cook and baker.

In addition to her husband George Nancy is survived by three daughters, Rebecca (Bob) Fisher, Emporium; Donna (Frank) Gentile, North Augusta, SC; Carrie (Rob) Crane, Emporium; a son, Michael (Michele) Reed, Emporium; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Donna (Jack) Pelkey and Joann (Art) Harpster both of Emporium; one brother, Gary (Alice) Schwab, Emporium.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles A. Schwab, Jr.

There will be No Visitation. A Private Family Service will be held at Barnett Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
