Abigail "Abby" A. Ostrum

Abigail A. "Abby" Ostrum, 74, of May Hollow Rd., Emporium, PA passed away at Penn Highlands Elk, St. Marys, PA on Monday morning (August 8, 2022) following a lengthy illness. She was born December 14, 1947 in Renovo, PA a daughter of the late Aredas and Virginia Taylor. On October 7, 1967 in Emporium, PA she married Wesley Ostrum, who survives.

Abby graduated from Bucktail High School in the class of 1965. She was a member of the VFW Womens Auxiliary, Unit 6221, Emporium, PA. She enjoyed working in the garden with her husband Wes, and canning her produce. She enjoyed going to the Buttonwood Restaurant with her friends for breakfast most Friday mornings.

She is survived by her husband Wesley Ostrum, and a brother, John Taylor (Tink), South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aredas and Virginia Taylor; two sons, Brian and Clint; two sisters, Jessica and Margaret.

At her request there will be no service or visitation. Burial will be in the Moore Hill Cemetery, Emporium, PA.
