Albert G. "George" Connelly, 71, of 44 Outback Dr., Emporium, died at his residence, Emporium on Friday (April 26, 2013) evening following a brief illness.
He was born December 16, 1941 in Swissvale, PA a son of the late James and Wilhelmina Burger Connelly.
On September 18, 1970 in Olean, NY he married Jacquelyn Lindsey Connelly, who survives.
Mr. Connelly graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1959. He served with the US Air Force from 1959 to 1963 in Topeka, Kansas and in the Phillipines. He retired from Ceromet in Anaheim, CA where he worked for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #990, Emporium, American Legion Olkosky-Jessop Post 194, Emporium and Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW, Emporium. He enjoyed anything outdoors, especially hunting and camping. He also enjoyed family gatherings.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday (April 30, 2013) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail. Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8 PM.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.
