Arthur V. Ernest, 83, of 114 Lick Island Circle Settlement, First Fork near Sinnemahoning, PA died at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport on Sunday morning.(October 10, 2010)
He was born July 6, 1927 in Punxsutawney, PA a son of the late John and Mary Bridge Ernest, Sr.
Mr. Ernest attended grade school at Saints Cosmos and Damien Catholic School and graduated from Punxsutawny High School in the class of 1945. He retired as a manager of Fisher-Fazio Grocers in Cleveland, OH where he worked for over 40 years. Upon retirement, in 1983, he return to the mountains of Cameron County which he loved so much. He enjoyed hiking, fishing and watching wildlife.

There will be No Visitation. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at a later date to be announced.
Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin, PA
