Bernard C. Krieg, Sr.

Bernard (Ben) C. Krieg, Sr., 68, of Grand Valley, PA formerly of Emporium, PA died Monday, January 29, 2024 due to an extended illness at Hamot Hospital surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 30, 1955 in Emporium, PA.

Ben graduated from Cameron County High School in 1973. He retired from the Emporium Borough after 30 years of service. He worked 15 years with the Pennsylvania Game Commission. Ben also worked for various heavy equipment companies in Virginia and North Carolina. Ben enjoyed hunting with his sons and camping with his wife and grandchildren.

Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin (Red) Krieg and Nora Clark. He is survived by his wife, Toni Osti Krieg; 2 sons, Bernard (Bennie) Krieg, Jr. (Michelle), Eric Krieg (Kristen); 3 grandchildren, Halle Krieg, Logan Krieg, and Cora Krieg; 3 sisters, Beverly Macmillan, Barb Johnson (Sam), Bonnie Green, 1 brother, Bruce Krieg.

The Krieg family will recieve friends at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 10:00-10:45 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM with  Pastor Daniel Brehm officiating.
