Mass of the Resurrection Beverly J. Smith, 74, of Maple Street Apartments, Emporium formerly of W. 5th St., Ext., died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Saturday (October 20, 2012) evening.
She was born April 30, 1938 in Emporium a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Mabel Foster Smith.
Beverly Smith worked at the Community Recreation Center in Emporium.

Daughter: Mary Ann, Mrs. Mark Mummert, Mechanicsburg
Preceded in Death By
Parents: Thomas E. and Mabel Foster Smith
5 Sisters: Shirley Smith, Gladys Lingenfelter, Mary Ann, and twins Thelma & Velma
2 Brothers: Raymond Miller and Martin Smith
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, Emporium on Tuesday morning from 10:00 -11:00 AM followed by Mass of the Resurrection at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, East Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday, (October 23, 2012) at 11:30 AM.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
