Brett F. Grimm

Brett F. Grimm, 61, of Emporium, PA formerly of Moore Hill passed away at Penn Highlands DuBois, DuBois, PA on Monday afternoon (April 1, 2024). He was born May 6, 1962 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Homer F. and Alora Wilson Grimm.

Brett graduated from Cameron County High School and served in the US Navy from 1980 through Feb. 1986. During his Naval career, he served the War in Lebanon earning honors in Naval Expedition and Sea Service. He worked as an inspector with the PA Department of Labor and Industry for many years. Brett also served his community as the Cameron County Dog Warden and Auditor. He was a life member of the VFW and the May Hollow Sportsman Club. He also volunteered his time doing lawn maintenance for the Moore Hill Methodist Church. 

He is survived by his mother, Twila Lyon Grimm, Emporium; a daughter, Brittany Johnson (Chris), Indianapolis, IN; son, Ryan Grimm (Taylor), St. Marys; three grandchildren: Colt and Quinn Johnson and Rylee Grimm; sister, Darlene Buchanan (Warren), Bradford; sister, Paula Cherry (Dave), Emporium; brother, Jody Grimm (Linda), Aurora, CO; several nieces and nephews including his nephew and close friend Paulie Haviland.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Homer F. and Alora Wilson Grimm.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on Friday from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Endless Mountains Methodist Church, 306 S Spruce St, Emporium, PA on Saturday (April 6, 2024) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Andrew P. Spore, Pastor, officiating. A Military Services will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

Burial will be in the Moore Hill Cemetery, Emporium, PA
