Catherine M. Short

Catherine M. Short, 95, of 112 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA formerly of 520 Beech Ave., Patton, PA died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Monday (February 10, 2014) morning.

She was born February 13, 1918 in Hastings, PA a daughter of the late Jacob and Irene Yeager Strasser.

Her first husband was Henry Lallemand. After his death she married the late Paul J. Short. She was the last surviving member of nine children. Kate as she was known by many friends and neighbors was one who loved family and friends. Kate worked at the Ebensburg Center and with her husband Paul at All Service Company in Patton. She was also a personal care giver for several individuals in the Patton Area. For Kate sitting on the porch with a good cup of coffee, visiting with friends and family was a precious treasure.

There will be No Visitation at her request. Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 501 Beech Avenue, Patton, PA on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joseph Short and Rev. Paul Demi officiating.

Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Patton, PA
