Private Memorial Service at Convenience of family
Clyde Oliver "Lew" Lewis, 70, of 26 W. Garden St. Emporium died at his residence on Wednesday (August 22, 2012) evening after a brief battle with bone cancer.
He was born December 13, 1941, the son of Gerald and Bernice Bates Lewis. Mr. Lewis graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1960. He was educated in mechanical drafting at Williamsport Technical Institute. He then served in the U.S. Air Force as a military police officer. He lived in several locations throughout the U. S., and at a variety of occupations before returning to Emporium, where he retired as a self-employed contractor. Clyde was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed skiing, flying, boating, camping, hunting and long-range shooting. He was happiest when he was outdoors.

Brother: Jake Lewis and his wife Dawn, Emporium
Sister-in-law: Kathy, Mrs Richard Lewis, Mechanicsburg, PA
Several: Nieces and nephews
