Diane M. Galford Miranda

Diane M. Galford Miranda, 76, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle, on Friday afternoon, December 26, 2025, with her loving daughter by her side.

She was born on August 15, 1949, in Oro Grande, California, a daughter of the late Jesus and Andrea Razo Miranda. Diane moved to Cameron County in 1968, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and community. She moved to Emporium in 1968 when she married Frank R. Galford.

Diane enjoyed playing softball, fishing, and dancing, but above all else, she cherished time spent with her family. Her warmth, laughter, and love will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the VFW, where she found fellowship and friendship.

Diane is survived by her two daughters, Pauline Galford (Mike Madden) of Enola and Andrea Hammack (John) of Emporium; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou Snow, Wisconsin and Corrine Garcia, California; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank R. Galford, Jr.; her grandson, Alonzo; seven brothers; and one sister.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, Pennsylvania, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:30 AM, with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.

Burial will follow in St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, Pennsylvania.
