Edward P. Bailey

Edward P. Bailey, 48, of Route 46, Emporium, PA died on Monday afternoon (September 7, 2020) following an ATV accident on Bobby Run Road, Emporium, PA. He was born October 4, 1971 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Harold and Alma Taylor Bailey.

Ed graduated from Cameron County High School. While in high school he started working at GKN Powder Metal and became full time up[on his graduation. He worked there for over 25 years. He then moved on to work at Metco in St. Marys where he had worked for the past 7 years. He was a board member of the Bucktail Rod and Gun Club for several years. Ed was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing motor sports and shooting trap for various trap teams through the years. He volunteered on several fundraisers including one for the Wounded Warriors. He also volunteered at Women of the Wilds teaching gun safety. He enjoyed sport shooting and the love of guns and was very competitive in everything he was doing.

He is survived by his companion, Michelle Shawgo, Emporium; a brother, Harold "Chum" Bailey (Christina), Sterling Run; four sisters, Tanya Lynn Connelly (Shawn), Austin; Tina M. Abbott, Knoxville, PA; Tammy I. Neyman (Mike), Emporium; Lorraine F. Bailey (Chuck Sarokon), Emporium; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry K. Bailey & Thomas R. Taylor in infancy.

There will be No Visitation. A Celebration of Life Gathering for Ed will be held at the Bucktail Rod & Gun Club, Sizer Run Road, Emporium, PA on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM
