Eleanor J. Kerr

Eleanor J. Kerr, 96, of Poplar St., Emporium, PA died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Tuesday morning (December 15, 2020). She was born March 29, 1924 in Emporium, PA a daughter of the late Elmer and Thora Lewis Bailey. On July 5, 1947 in Emporium she married the late Donald F. Kerr.

Mrs. Kerr graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1942. She retired from the former Emporium Trust Co. where she worked for many years. Eleanor was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Unit #6222 and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 194 and helped with the Blood Mobile for many years.

Eleanor is survived by a son, Ronald Kerr, Hollidaysburg, PA; a daughter, Cheryl Ann, Mrs. Edward Agliardo, Port St. Lucy, FL; four grandchildren: Cristine, Adam, Ryan & Jacob; three great grandchildren: Benjamin, Elyce and Darien; three great great grandchildren: Brantly, Lillian and Lucas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald F. Kerr who died Feb. 20, 2010.

There will be No Visitation. Private Family Service at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA.
