At her request...No Services Esther J. Bates, 97, of Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA formerly of Emporium died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium on Wednesday (April 16, 2014) afternoon.
She was born September 11, 1916 in Sterling Run, PA a daughter of the late James and Nora Jones Berry.
She married the late Chalmers Bates.
Mrs. Bates worked cleaning homes throughout the area for many people. Esther enjoyed her grandchildren and taking long walks even into her later years.

Son: Joseph Henderson and his wife Jacqueline, Contuit MA
