Frederick A. Jackson

Frederick A. Jackson, 69, of 620 Old North Creek Rd., Emporium, PA passed away surrounded by his family at his residence, Emporium, PA on Wednesday evening (May 25, 2022). He was born December 27, 1952 in DuBois, PA a son of the late Frederick P. and Mary Lou Dunbar Jackson. On September 17, 1976 in Emporium he married the love of his life Sarah Bailey, who survives.

Fred graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1971 and then served with the US Army during Vietnam Era. He worked, as a die setter, for over 40 years in the powder metal industry. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He adored his wife Sarah and loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Sarah; daughter, Brandy Ferraro (David), Emporium; son, Kenneth Jackson (Jessica Gies), St. Marys; four grandchildren: Kendra, Kaleb, Kameron & Bobby; two sisters, Buffey and Jodi, Erie and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Debra Murray and Jean Pugh.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Saturday (May 28, 2022) from 10:00-11:45 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM with Rev. James Eastman, Pastor, officiating. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
