George J. Harrier, 79, of Emporium, PA, passed away at Penn Highlands DuBois, DuBois, Pennsylvania, on Monday afternoon (February 23, 2026).
He was born May 25, 1946, in St. Marys, PA, a son of the late Catherine Pollick.
George proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart, a testament to his courage and sacrifice. He carried himself with quiet strength and resilience throughout his life.
He is survived by his grandson, Tyler J. Harrier of Emporium; and his friend and companion, Sandra Foster with whom he resided for many years.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Harrier, who died on October 23, 2007; and a half-brother, Richard Harrier.
There will be no visitation or services.
