George Stuart Obituary

George M. Stuart, 96, of 140 Elmwood Dr., Emporium, PA died at Penn Highlands DuBois, PA on Wednesday afternoon (May 5, 2021). He was born July 19, 1924 in Cameron, PA a son of the late George and Rosa Jane Seibert Stuart. On December 22, 1944 in Rich Valley he married the late Arlene Hudsick.

George was the youngest of twelve children and the last surviving member of his immediate family. He retired, after many years as a supervisor, from PA Department of Transportation in Cameron County. He had served as pastor of the Cameron Community Church for several years. He is survived by two daughters, Carol Thomas and Sandra Tucker, both of Emporium; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several, nieces and nephews.

George was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Arlene Hudsick Stuart, and several, brothers and sisters.

There will be No Visitation. A Graveside Service will be held at Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA on Friday, (May 7, 2021) at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Short, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
