Gloria Jean Hayes

Gloria Jean Hayes, 67, of Emporium, PA passed away at UPMC Passavant, Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday (September 20, 2025) evening following complications from surgery. She was born September 10, 1958 in Rockville Centre, New York a daughter of the late Gerard Matzen. She married Arnold Hayes, who survives.

She retired from Racoh Products where she had worked for many years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Arnold Hayes she is survived by son, Bobby Ng (Danika); son, Nicholas Long (Stephanie); daughter, Constance Athans (Jerry); daughter, Jessica Hayes; son, Benjamin Hayes (Maria); eight grandchildren: Henry, Charlotte, Amelia, Finley, Braxton, Annabelle, Shane and Chris; a brother, Gerard Matzen; and a sister, Jeanette Coleman.

Visitation with Video Tribute will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E 4th St., Emporium, PA on Thursday (September 25, 2025) from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. At her request there will be no service

Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
