James F. Eckenroad

James F. Eckenroad, 78, of 1978 Sizerville Road, Emporium, PA passed away at Penn Highlands DuBois, DuBois, PA on Friday morning (March 18, 2022). He was born March 19, 1943 in Homer City, PA a son of the late William and Lois Eckenroad. He married the late Dorothy Bailey.

Jim graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1960. He joined the US Navy before becoming an over-the-road truck driver. He had been the caretaker of the Portage Township Cemetery for many years.

Jim is survived by a daughter, Dana Eckenroad Moore; three sons, William Eckenroad, Daniel Eckenroad, William Bailey (Diane); several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Eckenroad. There will be No Visitation.

At his request there will be No Service Burial will be in the Portage Township Cemetery, Gardeau, PA.
