Mass, St. Mark Catholic Church, Fri. Aug 12, 2011 Jane D. Metzler, 79, of Grove House, West Creek Rd, Emporium and formerly of Maple Street Apartments died at Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys Tuesday (August 9, 2011) morning.
She was born August 23, 1931 in Erie a daughter of the late Paul B. and Mildred Kochendorfer Minton.
Mrs. Metzler attended Penn State University. She was the office Manager for Dr. Allen Blackburn for many years and later was a homemaker for over 22 years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends.

4 Grandchildren: Nathan, Melissa,Lauren & Jackson Metzler
Brother: Paul B. Minton, Jr and his wife Evelin, Panama City, FL

Parents: Paul B. and Mildred Kochendorfer Minton
Sister: Clair Miller
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Friday (August 12, 2011) at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
