Jason D. Maluchnik, 44, of 415 Grant Ave., Apt., Millvale, formerly of Emporium passed away at his residence in Millvale, PA on Thursday afternoon (December 16, 2021). He was born December 2, 1977 in St. Marys, a son of Trudie Hutton Wolfanger, Emporium and the late Alan W. Maluchnik.
Jason graduated from Cameron County High School. He worked in Construction with Popich Homes in Pittsburgh and had previously worked at Emporium Hardwoods and Pittsburgh Bread Works.
In addition to his mother Trudie and her husband Frank Wolfanger he is survived by a daughter, Oksana Maluchnik-MLecko who was the world to him; brothers, Michael Maluchnik, and Frankie Wolfanger both of Emporium; sister, Cathy Wolfanger, Emporium; several nieces and nephews; aunts: Christine Dickinson; Suesan Lathrop and uncles Richard and Thomas Hutton.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Alan Maluchnik; maternal grandmother, Theresia (Tilly) Hutton; paternal grandfather, Stanley Maluchnik; Uncle, John Dickinson.
Private Family Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium. There will be No Visitation.
In lieu of flowers, consider mailing a donation to Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA 15834 to assist the family with final expenses.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium
