John Ullman Obituary

John C. "Bud" Ullman, 77, of 525 Bucktail Trail Hwy, Driftwood, PA passed away at Jefferson Manor, Brookville, PA on Wednesday morning (October 6, 2021). He was born August 23, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Charles Ullman. On September 30, 1966 in Elkton, MD he married the late Diane Saurman.

Bud served with the US Army during Vietnam Era. He and his late wife Diane owned the former Sterling Run Tavern for over 21 years. He was well known for his famous subs and his story telling. He really enjoyed the people he met while working at the Tavern. Bud was a member of the Moose and the Vets Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by three sons, Charles Ullman, Casey Ullman and Donald Ullman, all of Emporium; and two grandchildren: Lexey and Logan.

In addition to his father and wife he was preceded in death by a son, John Ullman.

There will be No Visitation. The family will hold a memorial gathering Friday, October 30, 2021 at the Moose Lodge from 1-4 PM followed by a service held by the Cameron County Memorial Detail
