Joseph Arnold Obituary

Joseph M. Arnold, 55, of 239 Wyoming Dr., NW, Concord, North Carolina formerly of Emporium, PA died at Carolina Medical Center, NE, Concord, North Carolina on Wednesday (October 27, 2010) morning following a brief illness.
He was born May 28, 1955 in St. Marys a son of the late Edward E. and Eleanor Tevis Arnold.
On August 7, 1976 in First Baptist Church, Emporium he married Catherine Caldwell Arnold, who Survives.
Mr. Arnold graduated from Burlington Northern Regional High School. He attended Williamsport Area Community College. He worked as a truck driver for over 28 years. He was a active member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church in Concord, NC. He also belonged to the Carolina Faith Riders and the Patriot Guard Riders.

Son: Joseph "Adam" Arnold and his wife English, US Air Force, Mildenhal, England
Daughter: Amanda, Mrs. Steven Ward, Pensacola, FL
5 Grandchildren: London, Catey, Cheyanne, Coty and Lille
2 Step Grandchildren: Morgan and Ben
Sister: Tammy Leh, Bethlehem, PA
Aunt: Clara Weir, Emporium
Aunt: Aloma, Mrs. John Prosper, Emporium
Aunt: Brucetta, Mrs. Howard Beer, Emporium
Several: Nieces and Nephews
Preceded in Death By
Parents: Edward E. and Eleanor Tevis Arnold
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Sunday from 6-8 PM.
Funeral Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Monday (November 1, 2010) at 11:00 AM with Rev. R. Scott Melott, Pastor, First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium
If desired, Memorials may be made to the Poplar Grove Baptist Church, 3476 Poplar Tent Rd., Concord, NC 28027
