Kathryn M. "Katie" Zoschg, 94, of 3033 Cameron Rd., Emporium died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor in Emporium on Friday evening. (November 12, 2010)
She was born November 25, 1915 in Rathbun, PA a daughter of the late George F. and Rose Balaban Mahovlich.
On July 14, 1941 in Winchester, VA she married the late Matthew A. Zoschg, Sr.
Mrs. Zoschg was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time around her home most especially gardening. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Son: Stephen Zoschg and his wife Laura, Emporium
Son: James Zoschg and his wife Susan, Emporium
31 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren
2 Sister: Margaret Shoup, St. Marys and Helen Goodman, Freeport
2 Brother: Frank Mahovlich and his wife Rose Ann, St. Marys and Joseph R. Mahovlich and his wife Margaret, Rathbun

Husband: Matthew A. Zoschg, Sr. who died Dec. 18, 2003
Infant daughter: Theresa Marie Zoschg
3 Brothers: George, Ivan and Steven Mahovlich

and several siblings in infancy.
The Zoschg family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home on Monday morning from 9:45-10:45 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Monday (November 15, 2010) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin, PA
If desired, Memorials may be made to to St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 E. 4th Street, or to Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library, 27 W. 4th St., PO Box 430, Emporium, PA 15834-0430 or to the charity of your choice.
