Kevin R. Irwin, 70, of Emporium, PA passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Emporium on Sunday afternoon, March 15, 2026.
He was born October 16, 1955 in St. Marys, PA, a son of the late Raymond E. and Mildred Pearsall Irwin. On June 20, 1998, at the Bucktail Rod & Gun Club, he married Pamela Pickering, who survives.
Kevin was a graduate of Cameron County High School, Class of 1974. He later retired from GKN Powder Metals, where he had been employed for many years.
In his earlier years, Kevin enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting. Known for his generous and helpful nature, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and would often drop what he was doing to help others. Kevin was also a car enthusiast, with a special fondness for the 1955 Chevrolet. He also took great pride in and enjoyed his Chevelle and Impala. Kevin loved his dogs and cats, but above all cherished the time he spent with his wife and children.
In addition to his wife, Pamela “Pam” Irwin, he is survived by a son, Logan Irwin of Butler, PA; a daughter, Cameron Irwin of Emporium; a sister, Kimberley Irwin of Emporium; and a brother, Stephen Irwin of Emporium.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Colin Irwin.
Visitation will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 12:00 to 12:45 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM with Mr. Gary Boden officiating.
Burial will be in Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA.
