Loretta J. Farren

Loretta J. Farren, 80, of Emporium Arms, 324 W 4th St., Emporium, PA died at Buffalo General Medical Center, Buffalo, New York on Thursday afternoon (January 9, 2020). She was born April 20, 1939 in Ridgway, PA a daughter of the late Lester and Louise Gibbs Rutz. On July 15, 1961 in Emporium, PA she married the late David Farren.

Mrs. Farren graduated from Cameron County High School. She enjoyed attending church, crafts and computer games.

Loretta is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Wayne) Maeder, Buffalo, NY and Polly (Robert) Trzecki, Jr., West Seneca, NY; one son, Wayne (Leslie) Farren, Erie; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Roberts, Florida and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, David Wayne Farren; two sisters, Deloris Blauvelt and Virginia Schwab and her twin brother, Lester Rutz, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on Tuesday (Jan. 14, 2020) from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by the service at 2:00 PM with Rev. William Sidman, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA
