Lucille A. "Cookie" Alloe, 90, of Emporium, PA passed away at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, PA on Friday afternoon (February 2, 2024). She was born June 18, 1933 in Hurley, Wisconsin a daughter of the late Alphonso and Genevieve Bruni. In 1954 in Emporium she married the late Michael Alloe.
Cookie had worked at the former Homestead and Crescent Hotels for several years. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
Cookie is survived by two sons, Michael Alloe and George Alloe (Sue), both of Emporium; two grandchildren: Brandon and Kaleena and 1 great grandson, Virgil; ; a niece, Mary Lou, Arlene, Joann and Luann and two nephews, Anthony and Pete.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three sisters, Vera, Mary and Annie; two brothers, Sam and Frank.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium on Thursday (February 8, 2024) morning from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
