At his request...No Services Lucinda L. "Cindy" Beck, 69, of 3543 Rich Valley Rd., Emporium passed away early Monday morning at her residents following a lengthy illness. She was born May 9, 1943 in Clearfield, PA a daughter to the late Sherwood and Alice Shaffner McDowell. On April 25, 1964 in DuBois she married James Beck who survives.
She graduated from Clearfield High School in the class of 1962. She retired in 1996 from Motorcoils Manufacturing where she worked for over 30 years. She enjoyed baking, cookie jar collecting planting flowers and watching hummingbirds.
Surviving
In addition to her husband James Beck
4 daughters: Vicki Beck and Corrinna Mrs. James Pratt both of Clearfield,
Valerie Beck and Jamie, Mrs. Ken Stuart both of Emporium.
1 Son Russell Beck and his wife Jennifer, Emporium.
8 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
1 Brother: James McDowell and his wife Bobbi, Florida.
Preceded in death by
Parents: Sherwood and Alice Shaffner McDowell
2 Brothers: Tommy and Sherwood McDowell, Jr.
At her request there will be no visitation and no services.
