Marlene Sue Smith

Marlene Sue Smith, 53, of 310 Old Portage Road, Emporium, PA formerly of Keating Summit passed away Friday (April 23, 2021) in Olean, NY. She was born September 30, 1967 in Port Allegany, PA a daughter of Mary McLeod McLaughlin, Keating Summit and the late Donavan McLaughlin. On April 29, 1989 she married David Smith, II, who survives.

Marlene graduated from Austin Area High School. She and her husband David own and operate the Pizza Palace Plus in Emporium. Marlene loved spending time with her grandchildren, liked flowers and cooking for her kids on "family night". Marlene was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma.

In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by son, Alexander, Middleton, OH; son, Caleb, Coudersport; daughter, Anna, Emporium; daughter, Cassidy (Brian) Dempsey, Emporium; daughter, Caryn, Emporium; son, Gabriel, Emporium; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Duane McLaughlin, Ridgway; sister, Brenda Mack.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donavan McLaughlin.

There will be No Visitation and services will be private.
