Michael Rogers Obituary

Michael D. Rogers, 56, of Beacon Light Behavioral Health System, 800 E. Main, Bradford, PA died at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, New York on Thursday (April 22, 2021). He was born October 17, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois a son of John and Barbara Dolan Rogers, Emporium, PA.

Michael had been a resident of Beacon Light Behavioral Health System for many years. Over the years he participated in the many various activities there. He enjoyed dining out with his family and many friends.

In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters, Leslie (Gordon) Schenk, Wilmington, NC; and Jennifer (Jason) Reed, DuBois; two brothers, Daniel Rogers, St. Marys; and Theodore "Mark" Rogers, Emporium; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be No Visitation. Mass of Resurection will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 144 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 12:00 PM with Father Matthew Ryan, Rector, officiating. Burial will follow in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA.
