Funeral Service: Saturday 12 Noon Owen E. Emerick, 66, of 1521 W. 54th St., Erie, PA formerly of Emporium died at Golden Living-Western Rsrv., Erie on Wednesday (March 28, 2012) morning.
He was born December 2, 1945 in Brookville a son of the late Joseph and Hester Reed Emerick.
He married the late Constance Kahnell Emerick.
Mr. Emerick graduated from DuBois High School in the class of 1965. He served with the Army from 1965 through 1967. He retired from Carbide Graphite in St. Marys where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Emporium Lodge #382, F.and A.M.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 -11:45 AM.
A Masonic Service will take place at Noon followed by the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home with Rev. R. Scott Melott, Pastor, First Baptist Church, officiating.
A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
