Patricia M. Pearson

Patricia M. “Pat” Pearson, 91, of Emporium, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, December 7, 2025, at Guy & Mary Felt Manor. She was born April 3, 1934, in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of the late G. Arthur and Bertha Selle Anderson. On September 3, 1955, in St. Marys, she married the late Frederick Pearson, and later was married to the late Angelo Mancini.

Pat was a 1952 graduate of the former Central High School in St. Marys. She began her working years with Sears & Roebuck before serving many years as a library clerk for the Cameron County School District. A devoted member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Pat lived her faith quietly and sincerely. She enjoyed her daily walks, reading, and word search puzzles, and was especially proud of her cooking, best known for her delicious apple pies, which she loved baking and sharing.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Judith Sunder (Ted) of Springfield, IL; sons J. Daniel Pearson (Kathy) of St. Cloud, FL, Joseph Pearson (Joanne) of Emporium, and David Pearson of Woodstock, GA; stepdaughter, Monica Mancini, Dunnellon, FL; five grandchildren, Kate, Nick, Ryan, Emily, and DJ; one great-grandson, Henry; her sister, Shirley Stauffer of St. Marys; several nieces and nephews; and her close friend, Gina Caton of Emporium. 

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Thomas Anderson, and her sister, Jean Espin.

Visitation with a video tribute will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 120 E 4th St., Emporium, PA on Friday Dec. 12, 2025 from 2-4 PM. PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA, on Saturday December 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.
