Paul Powell, Sr

Paul E. Powell, Sr., 85, of 2 E. Second St., Emporium died at Sena Kean Manor, Smethport on Monday (July 4, 2011) morning. He was born August 17, 1925 in Jimtown, Oklahoma a son of the late Thomas J. and Velma Jones Powell. On June 10, 1967 in Sweeden Valley, PA he married the late Esther Rosette Callahan Powell.

Mr. Powell served with the US Navy during WW II. He was a retired welder and was a member of the Pipleliners Local 798 in Tulsa, OK since 1953.

There will be No Visitation.

Memorial Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Rock Pifer, Pastor, Free Metholist Church, officiating. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.
