He was born November 26, 1973, in Ridgway, PA, a son of Rickey Copp, Sr. of Emporium and Barbara Vought Ostrum of Emporium.
Philip was a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his work. He was the owner of Vought Trucking and West End Four Wheel Drive, where he built a reputation for his strong work ethic and mechanical skill. He had a passion for working on vehicles and could often be found in the garage doing what he loved most.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three daughters, Tiffany Taylor of Emporium, Brittany Catalone of Emporium, and Taylor Vought of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Rylee and Dominic; one sister, Rhonda Vought of Emporium; four brothers, Lee Pearsall of St. Marys, Charles Copp (Lacie) of Emporium, Rickey Copp (Toni) of Cherryville, NC, and Michael Copp (Carrie) of Emporium; along with several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friends, Steve Sowers and Tom Palmer, who shared many memories with him over the years.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Virginia Matteson Copp; maternal grandparents, Charles and Pearl Vought; his sister, Brandy Mason; and his uncle, Edward Vought.
Family and friends will be received at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th Street, Emporium, PA on Friday, May 1, from 2:00 to 3:45 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM with Rev. Bruce Burkness officiating.
